In out in out ect ect. Inhale short then let out a long breath with a slight, sudle, hum with it. You should be able to feel the vibration of the hum in the lower part of your neck. Iv been doing this whenever for the past 2 weeks. Some pretty interesting stuff can happen, also i might add this combined with isotones has some pretty outstanding effects. May just be me, but other than that it does do wonders to take a good breath here and there. That is all, you are dismissed :)

hm.. i never heard of inhaling short.
Ive heard of inhaling thorugh your abdomen, stomach area, or make it rise. When you exhale you take twice as long as you inhale and pretend u r blowing out candles softly.

Also ive downloaded a qigong book wich tells you how to cleans, strenghtn your lungs and it says the same thing pretty much.

If you know the name of the technique we could look that up online and get some good documentation :-)
