Now that donations have been received and the hosting plan has been renewed we are in the process of redesigning the website. In particular I would like your feedback on potential color schemes for the new design. You can use this thread to post any other suggestions you may have for the new design as well.

Subtle would be good, I like shades of blue, I don't like current theme because when I look at it, makes people think im ordering drugs.

It would be great to keep the forum posts intact as there is a lot of knowledge written here. I like the subtle blue approach, maybe with a glassy feeling?

Okay, the forum issues have all been fixed so it will stay intact.

I think you should make it look more professional. Blue and a glassy feeling sounds nice. Personally, a black background makes me feel like I'm trapped. You should also add more features.

The new website is coming along quite nicely so far, one thing that I'm having trouble deciding is this - for the tones which way would you prefer to have them organized?

1:

Tones -> select a category -> show all tones within that category (basically just like the splitting the current tones page into 5 sections, one for each tone)

2:

Tones -> select a category -> show a list of tone names within that category -> clicking on a tone name will take you to its page (and each tone has it's own page).

I suggest an hybrid version : clickable tone that reveal an hidden description when clicked. All this in the same page, made with AJAX magic.

I'd also like to see something different for the logo, right now it's kinda bland. I'll see if i can photoshop something up, that is if i'm not too lazy.
